Oxidal Bagno offers a wide range of finishes for aluminum profiles, including brushing, polishing, and chemical satin-finishing, to achieve the desired aesthetic appearance before anodizing treatment, which protects the material from corrosion.
With an efficient equipment fleet, Oxidal Bagno offers flawless finishes on both aluminum sheets and profiles.
Finishes are preliminary treatments carried out on aluminum profiles that need to achieve a particular aesthetic appearance and which, subsequently, will undergo the process of anodizing.
This is the case of brushed anodized (ARS), polished (ARP) or chemical satin (ARC) aluminum.
Thanks to a complete equipment fleet for the surface treatment of aluminum, Oxidal Bagno is able to carry out the following finishes:

Brushing
Aluminum brushing (ARS) is a finish that gives the profile a special scratchiness.
In the case of Oxidal Bagno, the treatment is carried out using steel wire brushes, tinex and Scotch Brite, depending on the desired finish. The use of machines with water-lubricated wire brushes result in less marked scratching of the aluminum, but at the same time, eliminates the use of cleaning pastes.
Polishing
Aluminum polishing (ARP) is a treatment that, by mechanically cleaning the raw aluminum surface, gives it a mirror finish.
Oxidal Bagno's equipment fleet boasts a bench polisher with cotton discs, military cloth or sisal, capable of treating profiles up to 7 meters in length. The aluminum's gloss is enhanced by a special paste that lubricates the mechanical discs.
Brightening
Aluminum brightening is a special treatment that is carried out by an electrochemical process that gives chrome effect finish. In addition to small parts, Oxidal Bagno specializes in performing this treatment on extrusions, profiles and metal sheets in commercial formats.
Oxidal Bagno - in accordance with customer requirements - prefers electrochemical brightening treatments capable of ensuring the lowest environmental impact.
Chemical satin-finishing
Aluminium satin-finishing (ARC) is a treatment that gives the surface homogeneity and a velvety effect by means of a chemical bath in a soda solution. In addition to its aesthetic function, satin-finishing also reduces surface defects on the aluminium.
